[Request] Plugin to Block Individual User Avatars?

I have had many requests from users for this feature.

Right now, if a user has an Avatar someone finds offensive, they simply block the users posts.

However, they really only want to be able to block an individual user's Avatar from displaying while still being able to read their posts.

Is a plug in like this possible to add it to the Block options in a user's profile?

Sorry for a noob question. But does the lack of response mean it is not possible, or that it is a dumb idea?

this SHOULD be doable. the only way i picture this working would be having a link show under everyone's avatar which when clicked would save their id to a private user key, which would be needed to store the id's of all user's avatars they want to block.

i'll give this a go, and try to see what i can come up with.

there are only so many coders on here, and we're all volunteers, so just try to remain patient when you request something.

And sorry if I seemed impatient. That wasn't my intent. The question was an honest one. I wanted to be sure the idea was even possible and/or that it wasn't a dumb idea.

Also, I was wondering if it could be added to the gear menu you see when you go in to a user's profile. That is also where you block the user entirely.

At any rate, either implementation would be so appreciated.

Seems to be 4 minor issues:

1) When I click block, I get an undefined error pop up.

2) After they are blocked, the clear key button goes away, so it looks like the blocking can't be undone.

3) The button text doesn't seem to match the rest of the forum. (Minor)

4) The bottom of the Clear Key button is cut off. (Minor)

Any chance these features can be moved to the gear menu in the upper right corner?  Maybe under Gear > Member

But it does appear to block them.

1) the alert was meant to be used for testing purposes, i've now removed that.

2) i'm removing the clear key button for now, til i can come up with a good place for it, or some alternate option to reset the key.

3) dunno why, it uses the "button" class.
