Hi ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, I made a bug report for the font size changing issue. Could you provide some more detail about the smile box bug? I can't reproduce it here on Support.

Keith Rozett Thank you for the bug report. As you can see on some of my posts here, I put in a smilie and just an empty rectangular box appears. I use the Preview editor here. Now on my forum (in my siggy) I use the BBCode editor with preset code for my replies. That completely makes using PB's default smilies unusable. The same empty box appears ~ every time. So I must use Todge's two smilie plugins which work no matter what editor I am in.

Also, I'm confused. Which editor causes the smileys not to appear? BBCode or Preview editor?

On this thread, you can see both the font change and the missing smilie ~ my reply on Apr 20, 2013 at 6:56pm. support.proboards.com/thread/459494/forum-statisticsThat's happening on Support in the Preview editor ~ but it is sporadic. On my board, in the BBCode ~ it happens all of the time ~ so I can't use the default smilies. Some time ago, I posted about this and David Clark said he has experienced the same problem.

It might be important to note that I'm pretty sure the times that I've been able to produce this, it has involved some copying and pasting in the visual editor (which I can see Ricky has specifically mentioned in this thread).

It doesn't involve cut and paste with me, as I told Ricky.

Great, thanks for the additional details. I'll file a separate bug report for the smiley issue.

By the way, ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, you can easily link to a single post within a thread by following these steps. 1. Next to the post, click the Post Options button (with the gear on it) 2. Select 'Link to Post' 3. Copy the URL in the 'Link to this post in this thread' field Way easier for you, and way easier for others too, to avoid going to the thread and scanning for a particular post.

Hi ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, I'm reviving this old thread to find out if this is still happening to you. I haven't noticed any threads behaving this way recently. If you're still having the issue, I can investigate it further.

Hi, Keith Rozett. Thank you for checking.
I resolved the issue myself by using presets in my BBC editor (as you can see) because it bugged me so much.
I know the smilie bug has been addressed. ProBoards' defaults didn't work in divisions and a few weeks ago that was resolved.
If I ever stop using the preset BBCode in my posts, and I find the bug still persists, I'll let you know.
Thank you again.

Hi, Keith Rozett, sorry to bother again, but I'm having problems with smilies again. I'm getting a colon before them.
Just started tonight.

I just noticed it myself. I just filed a bug report, and we should get to it soon. Testing...
