Hi all On V4 there was a very useful code that allowed you to post text that only certain users could see. Is there anything like this for V5? Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm very new to all this! |

I'm having issues removing the whispers from quoted posts when using the 'Preview' side of the posting page.
I can get around it by forcing the posting page to open up on the BBCode side, but I'd obviously prefer not to add that restriction.

Oh, that's a shame.
I'd still be interested in using the code even if you can't get around that, though - I don't think the quote post function will be used much on my forum.

Just popping in to mention that as more and more people are using the proboards app, which doesn't run plugins, this would be viewable to everyone using the app.

Yes and no. I started again to try and find a way to hide the whispers from the PB App, which would mean using a recognised HTML cell to post with, rather than the [whisper] tags that I did before, and have run into more problems.
Rest assured, this will be done, with or without the PB App being catered for.
