I just tried to look at your test site...... and I get re-directed to a proboards site called 'The Jungle' last post in 2002!
I'll have another go tomorrow.... maybe the app is playing up...

I got into your test site and then opened up the thread 'whisper test' using the mobile app. (android)

I don't know how to do screen shots on a phone... 

Anyway : First post comes up as

and then the third post seems to be full of smileys, as apposed to blank when using a pc.

Hate being the bearer of bad news (especially when this would have helped one of my stagnant plugins!   )

I'm not seeing the whispers via pc, but on the app I see "Hey there admin/ietester/you two".

Me too!
Just checked again and there's definitely no reply or quote using the app, but I can reply as a guest using my laptop.

I really have no idea how the app is meant to work!

I just signed up via the app and I can now reply/quote and the whispers have gone!

EDIT: I'm guessing that what ever you did, doesn't transfer for guests  -  Hopefully a setting somewhere....

Well, at least I can hide the whispers in the posts from the mobile app, I set the font-size to 0px in case you're wondering, but there's obviously no way to remove the Quote button, so they'll still be able to see the whispers on the BBCode side of the posting page.

Better than nothing I guess.

could you PM me the css you are using to hide it from the app.
I've got a free (ish) weekend coming up so I might have a play around with it and see what I can come up with, probably nothing , but it's worth a shot.
