Today I seem to be getting this error occasionally: The weird thing is the Host always seems to be different, I just happened to take this screen-shot when it was the ad server causing the error. However, the host is always pegged to be the source of the error message. Is this a known issue or is proboards just doing server maintenance? EDIT: It also does not appear to be specific to any forum at this time.

Hey there adam1228, Are you saying you're able to get this error message on any forum you visit? Aye nearly every one mate, provided I peruse a forum long enough, As a matter of fact, I just received another one, Ill grab a screen-shot. (Haven't gotten one on the support forums yet) EDIT:The first one was when browsing support and clicked on a link to another members forum, the second was on a completely different forum just a few minutes ago. The RAY ID Cloudflare proveded for this error was : 95c08a7e13d0097

Thanks, the screenshots help. In addition to that, can I have you follow these steps? This data will help our server guys ensure the error doesn't happen for you. 1. Traceroute run from your location. Here is how to do so: support.cloudflare.com/entries/22050846-how-do-i-run-a-traceroute NOTE: instead of yourdomain.com, which is listed in the example, replace that with the URL of a forum that you were able to get a Cloudflare error on. E.g., if you had the error on Support, you'd do "tracert support.proboards.com" 2. Copy and paste the text found on http://"your domain here"/cdn-cgi/trace in your web browser, for example on support: support.proboards.com/cdn-cgi/trace

Here you go mate, though, it has occured over multiple browsers, I the data below is from Opera 15 but it has occurred in IE 10. I assume you will want data from both? Or will just the one do David Clark? Tracing route to si3d.proboards.com [190.93.244.76] over a maximum of 30 hops:

Thanks for reporting back, adam1228. As long as the data in step 2 comes from a browser that gives you the error (which should be all of them), I think it's irrelevant which one you choose. I've sent this thread to our system admins to look at when they're available. I'll post back when I hear more.

Bump. David Clark I would like to note that I am still having this issue and since yesterday, it has decreased in occurrence but is still rather persistent, striking about 1 in ever 10-15 page loads. I just received this one about 5 minutes ago and another about 10 min prior (didn't think to grab a screen-shot or the ray ID from that one): Although the same error and host appear as in my second post, the ray ID for the one and the second post and the one in this post are different. Im not sure how cloudflare uses ray Id's, but if they are generated as a type of exception handler, Id like to bring it to the attention of the proboards staff in-case there are two different causes being attributed to this error. Ray ID: 96c7c947cbf02b8 Here is my updated ray trace and browser cgi trace: Tracert Tracing route to si3d.proboards.com [190.93.245.76] over a maximum of 30 hops:

I'm getting this error constantly, including when I just tried to log in here. It's happening about 40% of time on the two sites I haven't upgraded. I deleted my cookies last night and I didn't get it again until today.
Can it be because the sites haven't been upgraded?

Hi keydet19, The indications at the moment are that the issue is isolated based on location. Just to confirm, do you receive the same 520 error like the one provided in the screenshot in this topic? If so, does it say Ashburn for you as well just below the cloud in the error graphic?

Another one with a slightly different Ray ID and another proboards site, everything else is the same though... Site: no1tfm.proboards.comRay Id: 96d3ef0bc2102b8 CheatAreZee should I keep a posting every non duplicate Ray ID i get, or are the ones in this thread enough when added to the masses that others have posted?

We've gathered enough Ray ID's and traceroutes at this point, we'll ask if for some reason we need more however
