The floating pagination bar that floats along as the user reads down the page, is not working in IE9 again today, reports one of our members. She also reports that the menu bar in 'Reply' does not appear at all.
She uses Windows Vista.
She reports that when she tries it in Chrome & FireFox on her Vista machine, both are is working correctly.
So it appears to be an IE9 issue.
P.S. I tested it on Windows7 in IE10, and there are no difficulties - I no longer have a Vista machine to test, because I got tired of all the problems Vista presented.

Hi earlene, This sounds like an issue with javascript in their browser, which is preventing some elements from working properly. One way to verify for sure is if the member visits the posting page. If on the posting page, just above the text box, that all or most of the buttons above the text box for styling the text are missing then this would confirm this. If this is indeed the case, have the member first try clearing her temporary internet files, such as the browser cache, as this has helped some members that have experienced similar issues in the past. Otherwise have her check to verify that javascript is enabled in the browser

Thank you, Ricky. She did what you suggested, but it wasn't until she re-installed Java that the problem was solved. All is working as it should again. Thank you Ricky

Interesting that re-installing java did the trick; we don't use java for anything on ProBoards (we use Javascript, but that's built in to every modern browser and not something you need to install on your computer). Glad to see she was able to get it resolved anyhow, thanks for checking back on it
