Forum URL: jamieisdabest.boards.net Hi there i was wondering if it was possible to search for members by an ip address. I found an old proboards thread and it " www.proboards.com/forum-help-guide/search-forum-members " is there anything like that on v5? Or have i just missed the option?

It's possible to see whether or not an account shares an IP with another, @jbirnie, by heading to the profile of any member, clicking on the cog dropdown next to the Edit Profile button, hovering over their IP, and then clicking on Members. It will take you to a new screen with a list of other forum accounts that were recorded as having posted from that IP.
Beyond that, there's no way to punch in an IP and see if any members match, unfortunately.

Unfortunately the data you'd need access to wouldn't be available for use by a plugin. It may be possible to accomplish in future updates (either via plugin or built-in feature), but currently it's not possible.

Sure, I'll mark this thread with a Feature Request label, so that when our developers are searching through the backlog for new ideas, they'll see it.

Even though v5 is cool, it's lacking a lot of useful features we had in v4. Jussi

Even though v5 is cool, it's lacking a lot of useful features we had in v4. ( Jussi What features is v5 lacking that v4 had? So far there are really only two that people have mentioned that haven't made a return for one reason or another. The IP address search simply has not been re-implemented because IP addresses were not originally supposed to have the high level of visibility that they now do. The other thing that is brought up is alphabetizing a board, this is because of the new system making it difficult to do this on the fly. This feature has been mentioned several times as one that is on our list to bring back. Almost every feature that is "missing" from v5 that v4 had has simply either been renamed, or replaced by a more powerful version of that feature.
