Forum URL: teapartywhitehouse.proboards.com/I am having another problem now. When I sign in it takes me to a blank page. I have to refresh the page twice before the forum comes up. I did put a link here: This first pic is when I sign in. The blank screen comes up with the redirecting message and it freezes on this screen. It's the same redirecting screen I get when I sign into this proboards forum. The only difference is the redirecting screen on my forum stays there and the redirecting screen on this support forum actually redirects within 1 or 2 seconds. The other error message I couldn't get to come up again. It did say something about the sign in not being a valid key. The picture below the redirect pic is a picture of my forum degrading. I can reinstall the background and header but just to show you the forum is going bad little by little. Your correct, I haven't a clue? Thanks Michael! The whole page is white so only the "Redirecting" shows
Got It Michael After the redirecting page hangs I refresh the page a couple of times and usually I do get directed to the forum but once in awhile this error message appears and this time I got a screen shot of it.

P.S. I just realized another problem I was having was due to Internet Explorer. The links in my Facebook reply emails were causing my windows to spudder, flicker and shudder when I click one of the links in them. The page would change. The tabs row and the URL box would just start shuddering or flickering.
Since I changed To Firefox this has all stopped.
I have a few problems with Firefox like it's hard to drag my windows and studder schroling but it's better than some of the B.S. that was happening on Firefox.

Thanks for creating a new thread for this issue, Tea Party Main Street. Since we already had you try using another browser and you still experience getting stuck on the login redirect page, I'm going to have one of our developers take a look like I mentioned. Unfortunately it's currently Saturday and everyone doesn't get back in until Monday, so you'll have to sit tight on this one for the time being. My apologies.

Unfortunately it's currently Saturday and everyone doesn't get back in until Monday, so you'll have to sit tight on this one for the time being. My apologies. Not a problem Dave . This issue got me to use Firefox and except for the studder scrolling I'm liking the setup better. Actually I'm starting to think my computer and explorer don't get along to well since all the flickering screen happenings went away when I click my Facebook email links. The only problem I have with explorer are when I log onto my Proboards forum and click into Facebook email reply links. All those problems are gone now that I'm on Firefox. Banner fans has a note on their web site stating that if anyone has any trouble with their banner maker to switch to Firefox and I do have trouble on Banner Fans. It would be great if your developers could track down this problem even though I'm starting to become aware this problem isn't with Proboards since Banner Fans is redirecting their patrons to another browser. I haven't seen any other posts where people are having explorer trouble but then again explorer only has half the market now. I'm keeping an eye open for more people that are having trouble with explorer. Thanks Dave!

Thanks for the fix suggestion, jrryan, but I'm not sure whether or not this issue goes beyond the browser. Tea Party Main Street has already reported trying Firefox and experiencing getting stuck on the same login redirect page as in Internet Explorer, so it could be a bit of a bigger issue.

Internet explorer sucks! You're better off with Firefox or chrome The problem is we all have Proboards forums and we need everyone that uses Explorer to be able to access "All" Proboards forums from Explorer and any other browser people choose to use effortlessly. Geek squad is doing well because a huge percentage of computer users aren't that savvy and changing to another browser from their preloaded Explorer browser just isn't going to happen. If these people sign up on my Proboards forum then have trouble because of Explorer they will never know it's Explorer and never come back to my forum or yours. Hopefully the Proboards staff can find out what's clashing between any of the browsers and the Proboards script so all people using all browsers can use Proboards and not have any trouble Proboards isn't the only web site having this problem. I've encountered several web sites that suggest people move to another browser.

Damn I just tried logging in using Internet explorer and it doesn't work! Once logged in I need to manually click button to redirect and after clicking on it, I just get back onto my forum without being logged in! Surely there's many many people who use IE and it could be a reason why so many members register but never come on!

Can you go into more detail about the exact steps you're taking to prompt this issue? I just tried in IE10 and was able to log into your forum no problem.
I'm seeing a popup in your screenshot concerning an addon failing to run - is that unrelated or could it be contributing?

I'm not sure - add-ons are extensions or plugins for your browser, as opposed to for your forum. To determine that, Baller95, click on the wrench icon in the top right hand corner of Internet Explorer. In the dropdown menu, click "Manage Add-Ons". For the purposes of testing, I would first disable all add-ons and then try to log in again. If you have found that you're able to then, I'd re-enable them and disable them one-by-one, testing logging in until you find you're unable to again.

David Clark, after disabling all unneeded plugins and clearing cache I was able to log in. I still had to click "click here to continue" button as it didn't auto redirect but at least I was able to log in. I never realized how bad my forum looks (because of the sidebar as I've tagged you in another post) using IE.

Baller95, The reason you had to click the continue button is because your javascript is disabled. That could also be part of the reason why it would look bad. If your javascript was enabled you would not see the continue button, and it would redirect automatically. Here are instructions on how to enable javascript in IE if you need it: www.enable-javascript.com/#ie

Hi Tea Party Main Street, In Internet Explorer, can you press F12 to open the Developer Tools. Then click on the tab that says "Console". Then attempt to log into your forum. When it hangs at the redirect screen, can you take a screenshot of the entire browser for me? Next, in Internet Explorer click on the "Tools" menu and then choose "Internet Options". Alternatively you can click on the cog wheel (options) icon at the top right and then click "Internet Options". In the Internet Options dialog, can you click the "Security" tab and screenshot that tab as well.
