Hi Tea Party Main Street, I'm going through some old threads which were marked for our (the devs) attention. Is this still an issue for you?

Thanks for the fix suggestion, jrryan, but I'm not sure whether or not this issue goes beyond the browser. Tea Party Main Street has already reported trying Firefox and experiencing getting stuck on the same login redirect page as in Internet Explorer, so it could be a bit of a bigger issue. Hi David! I've already come to the conclusion that the page hanging issue is related to IE10. I'm having trouble on all kinds of web sites. Using Firefox is a bust also. Firefox is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow on alot of web sites. Even though I can sign in normally on Firefox on other sites I have schrolling and cursor problems. IE10 is less trouble. When I make a poster after downloading it on Firefox it comes out flat in appearance and not sharp. I still haven't tried Google. I'm just getting used to refreshing the page when I sign into my forum on Proboards. So much B.S. is happening with ISP's and Microsoft it's not funny. I myself think it's better internet security but only time will tell and reveal the answer? Except for the sign in page hanging up so far all else is normal and I'm not having any problems.

I believe I'm having the same redirection issue. Been happening for a few days, but I thought it was on my end. the-mow.proboards.com

I signed up on another web site and IE was navigating though it without any problems until I tried to enter some information, "Then The Page Hung". This web site is not a forum. It's a page that that info is entered into then uploaded to the server for permanent viewing. This is about 4 web sites I've had problems with pages hanging or functions just not working. In my opinion now it's IE 10 that's the problem. Microsoft just forced everyone to IE 10 and it was a manditory download or at least it was for me. It ain't noth'in but IE 10 causing the problems. Hey Vinh, if you can track down the problem and find a fix then you will upstage Microsoft Firefox navigates all the pages with no problem but Firefox "Freezes" now and again. I had IE open at the same time Firefox was open and all Firefox windows froze completely and I was still able to navigate IE without any problems. Firefox has a compatibility mode for Windows 7 and when I clicked it on the scrolling problems went away after a day or two? ?? But now I get a freeze up once a day on everything opened in Firefox that forces me to reboot the computer. Lots of problems with web sites and computers right now and it's, "All The Browsers Fault". I'm wondering about Google Chrome. I do have another computer but it's Windows XP and I just use it to store info and transfer pics. I have an old 1990's Cannon camera that cost $1000 when it was new way back when and doesn't work on Windows 7 but works great on XP. Camera still is takes superb pics. The old flash card in it crapped out on Windows 7 but works great on XP. Can't use the cord to download to Windows 7 but XP downloads alright. I see these old Cannon Power Shot G2 cameras on Ebay selling for $20.00 since Windows 7 but hell, "I'm still using mine". Just have to transfer to disc then use the disc to transfer into windows 7. As for me testing this thing on my old computer, ain't gonna happen. The problem is the IE 10 upgrade . I wish Firefox would upgrade to stop the freezeups. I'll think about trying Google Chrome. Hopefully you will find out what the problem with IE10 is and adapt or email Microsoft and tell them IE 10 is crap. I'm on IE 8 (Windows XP's most recent upgrade according to Microsoft when I try to download IE 10), and have a similar issue.

Manic, Microsoft made me upgrade to IE10 but now I take it as a forced downgrade to hours of B.S. dealing with it. I haven't crused Microsoft to see if I can get rid of IE10 yet and go back to IE9. Firefox is bunk also. I use Firefox to navigate web sites that won't work on IE10.

Hi Ricky, Yeah, I'm out of the thought it maybe a Proboards problem and fully under the thought it is definitely a Microsoft messup that I have to wait out. No problem waiting until Monday for Keith since I've been waiting months for Microsoft . Hopefully Keith will be able to figure out Microsofts blunder and do some complaining to them. Wouldn't that be wonderful if you could contact Microsoft? ??

For everyone who is having trouble logging in with IE, can you try this for me?
Press Ctrl+Shift+P. This will open a new window that says 'InPrivate' next to the URL bar. Now try logging in with this new window and see if the issue persists.

I have a feeling that a browser add-on is causing the problem. We can find out for sure. Open the "Run program" dialog (Windows button + R), and type this in: iexplore -extoff Close all IE windows, then click Run. (I had you type it in first in case you're reading this in IE right now.) Now see if you can reproduce the problem.

The "Connecting" just popped up again, and sent me back to YouTube, which was the site I was on prior.
