1 Click Labels System

Ok that title is somewhat misleading.
What I mean is, currently, if I want to add multiple labels to a topic, no matter where I do it from (Thread List, Post List, or Post Page), I have to do the same thing:

Thread List - Action > Labels > ADD
Post List - Action > Labels > ADD
Post Page - Gear icon > Labels > Add

I have to do that EACH time for EACH label. If I am doing lots of threads, which all have multiple labels, do you know how horrible that is? Tedious isn't close to the word I am thinking (keeping it family safe )


Is there no way you could could make it so that once you hit "Action > Labels > ADD" it doesn't close the dropdown and make you repeat the process? Maybe checkboxes on them so you can select multiple at once? I dunno how to do it, but surely there is a way

Also, to add another suggestion if it isn't already possible and I am simply missing something.
You click a label and it shows all threads with that label. Or you can use the search and "search by label". Is there a way to search for threads that do NOT contain a label? So, threads I may have missed?

I'll add the original request in as a feature request, but it's worth noting that most forums that use the label system don't apply multiple labels to topics so this one could especially be far out to be implemented. In the meantime though, if using multiple labels is something you do often, it may be best to create a single label to combine a couple of the labels you use together frequently, so you can just simply select that single label rather than having to go through the menu multiple times.

It's not currently possible to search for topics that do not have a label, but I'll add that in as a request as well

Brilliant, thanks - for both of those.
Unfortunately for the board I am doing this in, it's difficult to really combine labels into one. It's a "cinema" board, so there's all types of genre's, and they are all completely different unfortunately.

Are you unable to mass-select threads to add or remove labels to? On my site, I just hover my cursor next to the thread subject and a checkbox appears that I can click and then apply labels to the threads in mass amounts.
