its not the birthday thing. it happens after the people have joined for a long time and then it suddenly deletes them. neither of the admins are doing it and no one has hacked the account. i'm telling you something is wrong with the board. Have the admins actually bothered checking the security log to back up the claim that it wasn't cracked? yes they have. and the admin changes her pw every few days so i doubt someone hacked it.

in the logs it says that the Admin account is deleting them but only one person knows the pw to it and shes not doing it and no one has seen anyone on the account so it can't be hacked. Does this answer your question?

I posted that to see if you really knew what 'cracked' meant... if the security log shows that the Admin account deleted them, then the Admin account deleted them. Either Admin is lying, or his/her pw was indeed cracked. Since you trust Admin and won't believe the former, we must conclude that his/her password was cracked.

I'm actually helping whether you believe it or not. I've been here far longer (sorry, former accounts carry no ice with me) and I think I do know the rules. You don't have to "help" directly to help. I am trying to help him/her understand that the password WAS cracked and he/she needs to have the admin come on, confirm this, and get official action taken (if any CAN be given, which I doubt) Even a password changed every few days can be cracked, especially if it was cracked via e-mail/forgot password. The passwords ARE random numbers and letters, I hope. If not, that brings stronger thought to the fact that the account was cracked. angeltomyself: Having the admin come on will really help. Checking out safetynet.proboards33.com on password creation tips will help as well. Nitesky: Don't jump to conclusions in the future please.

For the thread creator when you checked the security log did you see a IP address next to the name that was deleting accounts? If so, like i suggested earlier in your thread search your member list by using the "search member" feature in admin panel and see who the IP belongs to. Then you know who is deleting the members. There is nothing wrong with your forum. The security log does not lie and if the person who been deleting members is lying then either demod that person, remove the power to delete acccounts or ban that person and see if the deletion of accounts stop.
Also If someone did hack into your account they would obviously change your password so you can not login again so they can do more damage like delete boards and categories.
Since you can login to your account you don't really need a admin here to do anything with your account. All you can do really is ban the IP address that's been deleting your members.
