navbar images instead of text

I want to add pics along the top of my forum instead of the text that is there at the moment however when I paste them into the custom images they don't show up

This is where I want them



This is a shot of them pasted in but they wont show up



Please can someone help.

Go to the General Settings in the admin panel and check to see whether images are turned on. Check the same setting in your profile if the General Settings don't work.

Are you sure that the "View Images" settings in both General Settings and Modify Profile are set to yes? Also, make absolutely sure that you're using proper, valid images? They must be .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG.

I don't have view images in the general settings part and it is turned on in my profile, I am using .jpg files so that isn't the problem. All my other images work in other areas

Sorry, my mistake, it's called "Text Menus" in General Settings. Make sure it's set to No.
