default custom field value?

My miniprofile design relies a bit heavily on the custom fields being filled out; is there a way to have a default value display if the field is blank?

Hi Kami,

There wouldn't be a way to do that with the system by default, but it is an interesting idea so I have labeled this as a feature request to see if your developers could add this in at some point in the future
