Feature request; alphabetize member list option

I'd like to place a feature request for the option to alphabetize the Member List to be reinstated. Previously, for V4.5, you could click A | B | C | D | etc. to see all the names starting with that letter and the list was alphabetical by default. Now, it seems to be haphazard and with no ability to search by letter or to alphabetize it.
I have seen feature requests for alphabetizing thread names like previously capable but I haven't seen a member list alphabetization request so that's why I'm placing it. Thank you! =)
