Forum URL: armitagearmy.proboards.comIs there any way to tell a prospective member why you are rejecting them, like there was in V4? All I see is a note you can add to pending registrations, which isn't the same thing. Thanks! squid

Hi,
You can click on the email and send them an email explaining. That's essentially the same thing.

Thanks Craig - I've never done that before.
The email will be FROM Proboards, correct? Not from the email address on the admin account?

Actually, that link just takes you to stopforumspam's database for that email. To email them, the only option is to copy the email and paste it into your email client to send from your personal address.

Would it be possible to add-in something, like we had in V4, that would allow us to tell someone why they were being rejected? (Or should I request this somewhere else)? thanks squid

Sorry, i meant to use that email. The forum will not email inidvidual members, you have to email them privately [as in using your email account].

Is there still a Feature Request section here (I did a quick look but didn't see it) where I could request the ability to have the option, like we had in v4, to tell them why they were being rejected, and not use email?

It'd be nice if the rejection message showed up on the forum when they went back to it next since a lot of teenage-aged people tend to ignore their email anyway.
