Forum URL: http://http://passions.proboards17.com I've been trying to go to my proboards site, but when when I click on my url (http://passions.proboards17.com) it winds up taking me to this link instead www.proboards.com/index.html. This happens even when I google my site. I find the link to my board and click it and it takes me directly to proboards.com. I checked the server status, and it shows that my server is up. Please help! Thanks

This is news to me. What exactly are we accused of doing? Why wouldn't someone send a notice about this?

This is news to me. What exactly are we accused of doing? Why wouldn't someone send a notice about this? Proboards Staff won't tell you what violation it was for. As for the notice, it depends on the severity of the violation, the main admin is then notified via PM from Proboards Staff from the main admin account, making it seem as if the admin PMed her/himself. If Proboards Staff sees that the main admin had participated in any threads that is breaking the ToS, then that would indicate that the admin would know of the situation and has failed to take action, and the forum is deleted.

It would be nice to know what it is exactly that we are being accused of. How am I to know or even try to correct what's happened if I have no idea what the issue is.
I am the admin of that board and I recieved nothing, not an email, pm, nothing! I have no idea what happened or how we violated anything. That's all I'm trying to find out.

I can fully understand why a board would be deleted if the TOS was violated, but the problem is how is someone supposed to be able to correct the situation or even understand what's wrong if they don't know what it is they did in the first place.
In my case, I'm thinking that there was a problem because we were selling homemade dvd's of episodes of a show. However, the powers that be who own the show tell their members to go to other sites to purchase the episodes because they don't sell them. So if it's a copyright violation, that's an easy fix and we can go back to what we had. I read the information on TOS when I first created this board and I honestly have no idea what I supposedly violated.
If Proboards doesn't want me as a user anymore then I'm fine with that, but I had over 6100 members who are now dumped and I can't even explained what happened. All I want to know is what it was we did wrong and if there is a way to fix the situation. But if they decide that it's more trouble than it's worth, we'll chalk it up and move on. However, I would think that after years of having this board, I deserve some kind of explanation of what happened.
