Hi Wormopolis,

I have been getting an error such as below;

Plugin key length exceeded.
(Limit: 4000 bytes)

Error Code: 16

What can I do about it? Is there a way to reset the key and not lose all the past history on profiles?

There was a bug concerning key lengths and Tim fixed it. reduce your max entries to keep.

I'm having the same issue, and I've tried the above, and disabling / re-enabling the plugin, but still getting the error. I'm guessing it might be because the new entries are above the hard max. Anything else I should try, or am I going to need uninstall and start fresh?

what do you have max entries set to? What might need to happen is I add a manual purge button to the log display.

Currently at 100. I've tried reducing it from there, increased to 200 then reduced again. I think I got down to 40 after reducing it a few times.

At this point it might just benefit you to reset that key so it will allow saving again. I will add a manual purge button to the log display.

The placeholders $[rank] and $[name] are only working in my default message, but when I use them in my custom rank messages, they display the code, instead.

I forgot to ask, is there some way that I can decrease the space between the custom messages and the general message when I want them displayed in the salute after my custom ones?

there is a built in line feed to keep the text from colliding

I have installed the update. The placeholders are now working within the custom messages and I was able to make them line up just as I wanted in that area, so everything looks great!
