Alright so I just started testing a new chess game for the first time in several versions. Aaand.. it appears broken. x.x' "Play Chess" shows up fine, it lets me pick my opponent and make my move, but then upon clicking "I moved" it takes me to the posting page for creating a new thread. Unsure if this was just a new feature, I tried typing in "Test" and then clicked to create the thread, which just took me back to the posting page again (without my "test" text in it). Did this circle a few times.

is the posting page filled out ok behind the game board? I cant make a game on your site because it doesnt seem to remember I had an acct there. or I just dont remember my username...

Huh, odd, it appears your account is gone/missing..? If you want to make a new one, feel free, though it's entirely your decision. And I'm not sure what you mean by having it filled out. Before when I clicked "I Moved" it made the chess thread, it didn't take me to the posting page at all, so I'm a bit unsure what you are meaning, I'm sorry

He says he didn't forfeit at all in that game.

Then I say he is lying. There is a forfeit flag in the EPD. that doesnt happen unless you literally click the forfeit button. it doesnt get added anywhere else in the code.

the checkmate thing I have seen happen when it processes endgame for the winner, but v 2.4.6 should have corrected that.

what version do you have?

I have 2.4.5 but will get 2.4.6 and yeah, I'm fairly certain he hit the forfeit, when I mentioned that I thought you could see if the forfeit had been ht or not, he left.

Got a question. Player got a pawn to the other side and didn't know how to swap it for a higher ranking piece.

It pops up a dialog showing the promotion pieces. If it's the same guy , he probably left the screen or something. It normally pops over the current active chessboard.
