Forum URL: weightlosssurgery.proboards.comSince Sat. 1/4 I have had 11 new members join my board and one deletion. Yet my member count 2847 has remained the same. Why is this so? Thank you for your help!

goodkel - I just registered a test account on your forum, and the number increased appropriately. After account deletion, the number decreased appropriately. Can you verify that the problem is still occurring?

Hi goodkel, What do you think your member count should be? I checked your Members list and it lists 2847 members, exactly the same number.

Can you verify that the problem is still occurring? I saw that in my notifications, pbtest. You weren't listed as a new member and the number didn't go up. Could it be something wrong with my account?

The reason it's not listed and the number didn't go up is that I deleted the account immediately after I created it, which removed the account as the 'newest' account and decremented the number of members.

Hi goodkel, What do you think your member count should be? I checked your Members list and it lists 2847 members, exactly the same number. I usually don't pay too much attention to it, but we've had a greater influx of new members than usual and for the last couple of members the number didn't move. Could it be existing members registering a new name, but with the same IP? Is there a way for me to check the count on the Members list? Or to verify that no one has a troll account? Like by a search by IP? If so, how would I do it? I looked for that before contacting you and didn't see it. Not a pressing issue, just irksome.

On each of those new accounts' profiles you can click on the icon on the top right and select IP > Members. It will show you any users who share the same IP address as that account.
