On that page, they show in both places, but if you go back a page, they show only in the hover pop up. All threads are currently doing the same thing.

The awards plugin has a footer component that makes it run after all the plugins have ran regardless of what order they are listed in the manager.

on pagination, both plugins follow the order because they loaded into the queue that way.

Todge must have needed to write the call into the footer for a reason.

the awards hit both boxes because I put a second class of mini-profile on the mini-mini-profile in case other plugins or CSS needed to affect the mmp as well.

There was a reason I put the function call in the footer, but I'll be damned if I can remember why.

I'll see what I can do with the awards plugin, but without a working computer that may take a while.

sorry I keep forgetting to come back to this. I should hopefully have time during the screening tomorrow to write something up. part of the reason ranks and stars werent included is that the the main point of the mini-mini was to put as little as possible in it. just enough to identify who made the post. then if you wanted to see all the extraneous stuff, you just had to hover. what I can write up is something that should hopefully sit in global footer and follow the plugin running to copy what you have in that div into the mini-mini.

I think you made a great plug-in and I think your decision on what to include was just right, too.

Ordinarily, I would also prefer to leave out the ranks and stars and have the profile be as small as possible. The reason that I would like them to show, is that we use other images in lieu of stars and some of us like to roleplay as our rank images. On our roleplay posts, the rank & image is sort of part of our identity.

It's very nice of you to spend your time helping me to include them when it is an extra. Thanks. I really appreciate it.

Thank you. I have added it to the global footer and I can see the ranks appear briefly, but then they are ending up back into the hover.

I have just started learning these things, so I hope this is not a stupid question -  Should I take the ranks back out of the div id? I don't see the div in your code.

I didnt remove it from the hover, I just duplicated it into the mini-view. recopy the snippet. do you want to remove it from the hover or have it in both?

I recopied it and the rank info doesn't stay in view. Ideally, it would not be in the hover, but it's not a big deal. I don't want to make more work for you.

Someone on my forum found a minor typo in the snippet. They changed the .user_rank_info to #user_rank_info and now it works perfectly. Thanks.

hmmm. yeah that should actually be fixed. in your template make it

and put the snippet back to what it was before. you should only have ONE element with an ID on the page. not dozens. using class is better (and what I thought you had done because I didnt check).
