Works fine on my test forum.

Edit: I see a post by Robert Barbas here, meaning it's working fine: shieldrp.com/posts/recent

For me the post by Robert Barbas shows on page 2 which might just be a constant error with proboards actually (I can grab a screenshot if that helps because for me on page 2 it definitely shows as Alpha not Robert Barbas)

Updated to 1.0.2.

This update removes the NPC selection dropdowns from any pages that display any form of recent posts or search results in order to properly enforce board blacklist rules you've specified in the plugin settings (since there's no indication on any of those pages what board the posts came from).

Does this increase the user's post count when they are posting as an NPC? Like, their normal account's post count, the one they're logged in as

So this broke my 'last post created by' variable in the board list. xD It turned all of them into a } and nothing else. I don't mind if the NPC doesn't show up anywhere but in the mini-profile for my site since it's extensively remodeled but I don't want it to render all the 'created bys' in the board list invalid. =/ Is there something I can do to fix it? alcryst.proboards.com and in case it's needed I was testing the NPC here alcryst.proboards.com/thread/358/npc-test

Your post count is increased as it's still your post. There's no way to prevent that.

The braces look like something on your end, ₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪, not something changed by my plugin. Note the bit in red below from line 32 of the following template.

Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List

Haven't tried this yet but it looks beautiful. (I had to stop using the Alter plug in a while back cause they all broke for some reason >.< But we have had not much use for it anyways.)

Nah. I didn't think I should since I didn't plan to use it anytime soon. It was kind of a test run. We haven't been RPing much as of late though, so the use of it kinda faded. Haven't tested any new versions and stuff yet either XD. It's no biggie though.

(Basically what happened was, it worked, but then stopped working the next day. I don't remember what version it was though so for all I know the issue has been fixed)

Sorry for double post but this is an entirely new question/request but is there a way for whenever someone posts with the NPC that it automatically adds the NPC's name to the post? Doesn't have to be a link or anything but just a little note at the corner somewhere. This would have to be visible on mobile.. so it can't be anything fancy to begin with.

Reason being so that mobile users don't get confused which character would be posting and such. Everyone in my forum assumes everyone else uses desktop so they'd just chose an NPC profile and 'talk' as the NPC, but mobile users would probably be very confused which character the member is using.

Plugins don't work on mobile. There's absolutely no way to do this.

It should already add the name automatically to the post on desktop unless you're on a theme with massively edited layout templates, in which case there's instructions to make the names show.

And of course a question.

It's not big and just more me being picky, but is there any way to tag the NPC profiles and have their 'username' appear instead of the actual account's username?

IE: Account A is posting as NPC B. Is there a way to make the tag (@ username) directed at NPC B specifically/that name appear instead of Account A's name.
