What do you mean?

I mean can you link me to your forum so I can see the problem on the forum itself?

I woudn't be able to determine why it's not showing without seeing the problem firsthand.

It looks like you've added NPCs to the NPC list in the plugin settings, but you haven't specified which groups can use each NPC. If no groups are specified nobody will be able to use the NPC.

First up - Your plugin is the bumble bees knees! - This will help my games immensely

I have some questions/requests - I expect I know the answers but if I don't ask we don't get

(1) It is possible to remove default profile objects in the backend? (IE: Id like to have a much more compressed version in the backend as I want to have a lot of NPCs but don't want be forever scrolling past fields ill never use - Id like the abilty to just remove fields like Star Image, Star Count, Birth Day)

(2) Is it possible to have in the back end things in different lists to make management easier? IE: When I go to add an NPC I have some sort of filter option at the top to filter by "Group Name" or even have the option to change the way the information is loaded - Maybe more like an excel table format?

(3) Lastly - The drop sword idea is awesome - What would be more awesome is if I could have it truncated by group? - Like this mock up - Is this possible?

1. Yes! You can reference the steps in this post about adding new fields, but instead of adding lines to the JS you'd be removing the relevant lines in the Components tab. Then you can remove them from the User Interface tab.

One thing not mentioned there (since this has to do with removal) is that you also should get rid of this section if you're getting rid of the stars and star count just to ensure the plugin doesn't run into any errors due to the variables no longer being defined when deleted from the user interface.

2. Not in the current version of the plugin. I can update it to change the way the NPC list is output on the member list page but it won't have any pagination unless I manually create my own custom pagination, so you'd have an enormous list of NPCs on one page. I can also make it filtered based on group name but that'd be a dropdown rather than a search field.

3. The menu was one of the most frustrating things to code because I essentially rebuilt the PB menu functionality from scratch. I'd have to play around with it a bit to determine how to make sub-menus without breaking anything. As for populating that menu, that'd be no problem at all to accomplish.

I set the permissions. Created an NPC, set the grops that can use it. But, I don't see the sword icon.

While you've specified which groups are allowed to write to the plugin key you haven't specified which groups can use the NPCs you have listed in the NPC List tab. Thus, no sword icon is showing in posts.

Can if/else statements be used in this html? If not, can I do it via javascript's if/else? If so..then how do I make it recognize one of the categories.

Tiffy-Bean : If statements cannot be used as this is a plugin, not a layout template. In addition, JS does not accept HTML by itself.

I've been through the the other pages, changed coding when I saw issues similar to mine, and the NPCs are still showing up as the original poster on the thread list and info center. They appear perfectly within the thread. It also doesn't appear that the mini-profile/mini_profile thing is an issue either. Can you please help?
