Absolutely amazing plugin!

I did have a quick question and I didn't seem to find an answer in the thread.

Is there a way to change the avatar size for the NPC?

The Forum i'm using right now has a template named Lunar Eclipse with a hovering mini-profile and such. The large image that would show where the default avatar would be (for a default layout) is 220x350. I'm trying to get the image for the NPC Profile (Avatar URL) to go to 220x350 as well, so the NPC profiles look like normal member profiles.

Once again, absolutely great work.

I figured a work around I believe! I went into the Advanced Style Sheet and just changed the default size for avatars and than input your "$[user.avatar]".

I'm still confused on why I had to change the default size in the style sheet for the layout, considering it does it automatically for normal profiles, but i'm assuming that is probably over my head.

Zerenity, the $[user.avatar] variable in this plugin outputs the same HTML as the $[user.avatar] variable in the mini-profile layout template. Both of them would be resized using the same CSS.

I tried using the $[user.avatar] variable and it showed the image in its normal dimensions (read:it didn't resize the image), but it still had the image in the 150x150 box (cutting off everything except one corner of a 220x250 image). I went into the advanced CSS and found the default avatar size for the board and just altered that, it seems to work now.

This is an image of what it looks like with me just using the base plug-in and original theme CSS. The NPC profile from your plug-in is the smaller image in the "Admin" post slot.

I totally think I am having a blonde moment but I cannot get my NPC profiles to work. I managed to get the small "last posted" name to change to the NPC but not the actual mini profile or post profile to look like the NPC one.

There was another user with the same theme that had that problem. It's due to the fact that the theme author changed the class of the mini-profiles from mini-profile to mini_profile. The plugin is dependent on the class being the same as the default layout in order to work.

I'm having a bit of a problem with the mini profiles for the NPCs.

Link is here. 

The first two posts are NPC and the final is mine.
The first NPC has no coding for his mini-profile.
The second NPC has coding for his profile.

As you can see, my profile's group and rank are showing up underneath the NPC profiles. This is a strong indication that the problem is within the Mini-profile coding for the site itself and not the NPC coding that I've done so far. I've experimented for a time but am uncertain how to remedy this situation.

So far anything I thought might work has only broken the coding.

What do you recommend?

adzeekh, that's due to the group and rank being outside of the <div class="mini-profile"> element at the beginning as that's what the plugin changes. The entire profile would need to be contained within that div in order to change.

Also, style tags do not need to be present in your templates or NPC profiles. They only need to be declared once per page which is why they go at the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet.

Hello.

I was wondering how you could make the NPC *Full Profiles* more individual?
I am more specially trying add character stats to the profile. However with in the NPC list there really isn't room or a field to add notes and such.

Can't be done within the plugin at the moment. Sorry.

The page where you create them is already super crowded so a lot of that stuff is stripped down.

Well thank you for responding. Maybe in a next update or something, on the Full Profile page, there can be individual fields for each NPC.

That should be possible. Just convert it to HTML and add it around $[user.group.name] in your mini-profile coding for that particular NPC.

Hey Brian:

I got the Plugin to work on my forum, but for some reason when I go to the Recent Threads/Posts when I had it set to show the ones that I had for the whole forum, it didn't replace the username with the name of the NPC on the posts that people create with the NPC.

I'm not sure if I installed it wrong, but I put in the information and the sword shows up, so I assumed that I did it correctly.

Other than my not being able to figure that part out, the Plugin works amazingly well. Thank you for creating it!!
