Sorry it is taking me a while to get to this. My daughter and 3 grandkids have just moved in w/ me and I haven't seen her in 5 years. That explains it all. LOL

Anyhoo I just disabled it. I wonder if I downloaded the wrong thing because I just noticed the plugin says, "Whisper tags".

Is that what the plugin is called?

That is correct, the plugin is called 'Whisper Tags'..

When you have time, could you try downloading it again from the library and seeing if it then works?

There aren't any extra buttons in the posting pages; no shhhhh button. I am pretty sure I would notice that. For some reason the button isn't showing up.
I also have the permissions set where everyone can see it in case you would like to look.

Not easily, but it is possible.

It would mean using an algorithm to encode the whispers at the point of posting, and then decoding them when they are displayed, and it would not work with existing whispers.. In fact, I'd have to try and find a way to make sure the new code is still compatible with your existing whispers, otherwise they'd get jumbled by the algorithm.

I'll add it to my 'list of things to attempt'.

Any new whispers should now be encrypted at the point of posting making them unreadable on your forum whenever JS is disabled. As the whispers are removed by the plugin if they are not for the current viewer, they would need to disable JS to see them in the source code, and so would be encrypted there too.

Holy crap im going to have to see what you did to accomplish that. I wouldnt mind learning in case i need things secure in the future.

I just came from the Support Board concerning an issue I have with quoting as Admin. It seems that there is something with the Whisper Plugin causing that, they suggested I'd contact you to report the issue.
