Does this happen with all of your members?

We've tried it on an admin, a staff member and a regular member account. All the same result. I feel like it's something having to do with the coding of the whisper button; whenever we click it, that extra [/div] pops up with the rest of the coding. But then, I know less than nothing about plugins, so...

Hmmmm.

I don't have a computer right now, and coding is a bit of a pain on a tablet.

Could you try downloading and installing it again from the library, and make sure the plugin is at the top of your plugins list and see if that fixes it, if not, let me know and we'll try something else.

So this plugin works awesomely.

... uh. Too awesomely.

Right now staff can't see whispers. If we click 'edit' the whisper text pops up for a second and then vanishes and there's nothing too edit.

Is there a fix for this?

OK, the next thing to try is to disable your other plugins and try the Whispr plugin again. If it works correctly, then reactivate the others one by one, trying the Whisper plugin each time until it goes wrong again. When it does, the last pluginyou reactivated is the plugin clashing with this one.

If you find a plugin that is clashing with this one, let me know which one it is and I'll try to find a fix.

It should be a straight forward fix, but I don't have a working computer right now, so it may take a while.

I just downloaded the whisper plugin and do not see it. I see the plugin in plugins but where do I find it to use it? I saw the post in which toge said it adds a new button but I don't see a new button.

"You should see a new button on the posting page, that, when clicked, will open a dialogue box asking you to enter the USERNAMES of those member(s) you would like to whisper to. Once posted, only the members you entered should be able to see the section of post you selected."

You should get an extra button at the end of the list looking like a smilie face holding a finger over its mouth. If you don't see that, give me a nudge in a few days, and assuming I have my new PC by then I'll take a look.

I didn't remove them. They never showed up when I downloaded the Plugin. Maybe I need to delete the plugin and re-download it. IDK.

Can you please disable the Whisper plugin and let me know when you have so I can take a further look.
