Custom Mini-Profile Backgrounds

I have noticed that the background only shows up in your mini profile in threads and i don't see it when in Recent posts.

Is there a way to set it so only certain groups can have this? I would like it for the mods/admins, but I don't want every user doing it.

It's certainly possible to make this a setting.  And I had considered it initially.  But ultimately I decided against it because it will be very easy to circumvent.  Nothing will be stopping your users from setting the key manually via their console, or editing out the conditional that will force only staff to see the edit profile section.  That said, those reflect edge cases.  So I'll go ahead and toss this setting into 1.3.0.

I installed the custom mini-profile background (link) but cannot get it to work.

I've tried several times, and read all the help links on it and retried again, but no go.

Any suggestions as to what I might be doing incorrectly?

It is exactly what I did as well ... several tries ... and it did not work. 

I use Firefox.

I have submitted a bug fix to ProBoards; I will post again once it has been accepted.  This will make for version 1.2.2.

As far as the background size is concerned: the plugin actually makes no effort to affect this.  It will be up to the browser's default behavior.  So in most, if not all, browsers that should mean the background image is cropped (starting at the top left).

Ok first off let me say that I am new to this & have just started a new forum that I moved over from AARP. Now I have downloaded your plug-in & it is in place. Now where does a member get a URL for what they want to use as a background & what can they use as a background. Is it just any photo they have & if so what would the URL be for all the newbies out here. But do like your plugin.
