Forum URL: gentlemenclash.freeforums.net/I'm pretty new to Proboard, and my forum is still pretty new, so this might be an easy one for your vets. I simply can't figure out how to put ACTUAL transparent spaces between posts. whenever i select "transparent" for the spacing it simply turns black instead... i am using an image for my background and not one of the default things they give you, this may be part of the issue... i honestly have no clue. i just want a simply 5-7 pixel gap between each post that is ACTUALLY transparent. thanks ahead of time. - Luke

Hi Luke, Visit your admin panel, then navigate to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS. Once there, use the visual editor and navigate to Pages > Threads (Posts List) > Posts > Posts Separator -- change the border color of this to transparent (or to White if the transparency doesn't work, since that should blend it in with the background of the posts making it appear transparent) and see if that does the trick

My entire forum wallpaper/background is this: And i'd like the "spacing" in between each post to be about 5-7 pixels where part of this wallpaper will be visible. like it is here (maybe a bit smaller, but you get the idea)

That would require a layout template modification as the table cells that make up the post list are stuck together and cannot be separated or have transparency showing in between (that's how tables work).
Your screenshot of the categories on the main page shows <div> elements which have differently constructed HTML.

Actually, Stinky666's 'Something Dark' theme has split posts, so I'm sure if you ask your question in the template request board, they'll be able to figure something out for you.

Jaguar, The user isn't looking to change the space between the categories but to add space between each posts on his threads. So I don't believe this plugin will do what he's looking for.

captainkb, skim a bit further down the linked thread, you'll find out that Chris answers that very question with the necessary code (it's this particular post).

I'm pleasantly surprised with the activity and helpfulness of this board. I got one last question for you folks, sorry. On my forum I have it so the background/wallpaper scrolls with the page, but it doesn't do this on phones. Even when I switch it from the mobile version to the desktop version. The background just stays in the center of pages leaving a huge white space ontop and below, but on a computer it works fine, is there any solution or this?

Your background behaves the same on both PC and phone here.
Any white space around the background image would be due to differences in resolution between both devices. For example, there's white space around the image on the PC I'm currently on because my screen resolution is set to 1680 x 1050, while your background image is 1600 x 900, which is smaller.
