Forum URL: www.losttavern.proboards98.com i had about 3500 post's disapear on 1 thread today. can anyone help with this? is there a limit to how many posts there can be? or maybe an err. that we had today? i was logged in at the time it had happend. thanks,

Hello Snakeair...i just ran it and it did not work. also when this err happend the total post count for the entire board was almost 10k...i ran the fix and it adjusted down to 5600...weird...still have not recovered the missing posts.

In your admin panel run a "fix a board" for that one board. Hello Snakeair...i just ran it and it did not work. also when this err happend the total post count for the entire board was almost 10k...i ran the fix and it adjusted down to 5600...weird...still have not recovered the missing posts. What board is this happening in? Can you also check in your securiity log in admin panel and see if anyone has deleted stuff recently? The fix a board, fixed the true post count in that board. Let's say a few members delete there replies once and awhile. Sometimes the post count doesn't update. The fix a board will fix that.

Unfortunately they can't be retrieved. Sorry We always recommends that once a topic reaches 500 posts, to close that topic and post a continuation one, as what happened to you is likely to happen on big topics.
