First off, I'd like to say that yes I do realize that Admin/Staff members viewing any member's full birth date can possibly be a violation of privacy, but there is also the ProBoards Terms of Service about members being underage on any forum registered on ProBoards. I'm not sure if Admin/Staff members of any site registered on ProBoards can still view any member's birth date after the member has set it to hidden, but if there is a way to do so could someone please tell me? If not then I'll probably post this under the suggestions thread. If there is one that is. lol
The problem we've been having is members having to be banned due to underage, breaking ProBoards ToS which they have agreed to, until a year later or their birth day. And at the current moment, like I said, as far as I know there is no way for a Admin or Staff Member to check a member's birth date on their profile.
Anyways, thanks for reading and I look forward any answers/solutions someone may have. n_n

When a user profile is created on ProBoards we make every user check a box stating that they are at least 13 years of age or older. Viewing the birthdate they have in their profile is not guaranteed to be accurate, nor will it inform you of the users actual birthdate (necessarily). This is personal information and I don't really see a good argument for giving the admin control over it. If you know of an underage user on your forum your are legally obligated to remove them to comply with COPPA. There isn't a suggestions thread, but if you'd like something considered as a feature request simply stating it here is fine, and then one of the Support team will mark this thread with the "Feature Request" label that our developers look through when new features are considered.

Yeah I know it's not guaranteed to be accurate, but making a member show their birthdate at least to Admins/Staff Members would be helpful in catching those who may be lying about their age. Our forum does remove/ban members that lie about their age, but only if we catch them.
Like I said, I know the birth date of every member is their own discretion as to whether they show it or hide it from public. I would still like to put this as a "Feature Request", and also put in a request for Admins/Staff Members to be able to change Gender and Gender Status(hidden/not hidden from public) options as well. The reasoning for the latter is because some of our members are still getting used to forum websites and occasionally ask for us to help them change it since they can't find it themselves.
Thanks for the reply and help. n_n

Flagging this as a feature request. A lot of the privacy controls (especially those added in V5) were in response to abuse by forum staff in the past of access to changing members' personal details.
My thoughts on this would be to ustilize the help guide here on support or to create your own tutorials showing members the steps to make changes, which also ensure that they will be able to do so more easily in the future themselves.

As someone running at least one site that's only for members over 18 this is a request I'd find useful! At least seeing a members full DOB and while I am aware it may not always be active at least this way I can enforce my own sites terms
