Daily Email Notifications

Has Proboards stopped sending out daily email notices? Usually I get an email titled "Your Updated Threads on The Classic Comics Forum" but I haven't received any in awhile even though the threads are being updated. I am still getting the "You have been quoted" emails though. I re-saved my settings a few days ago in case that was the problem but still haven't received any Updated Threads email. There's nothing showing up in my spam box either. Anyone else having similar problems?

As of yesterday we noticed that the e-mails had not been deploying, so we made a quick correction and now they should be sending. Can you confirm Jesse?

Unfortunately I haven't received any additional emails since the one I received on Sunday. Nothing in my spam box and I know the threads are being updated updated.

The continuing issues was brought to our attention the other day, which our devs took a look and found some things they'll need to change in order to get it back to functioning regularly again. Unfortunately I haven't been provided an ETA for when the fix is expected to go out, but we'll let you know when it does

Thanks for the reply Rick. I've received Daily Thread Update emails three days in a row now. Looks like the problem is fixed.

So have the Daily Email Notifications been phased out? I'm not getting them anymore and the new notifications don't seem to link to the exact post the way the old ones did.

Hi Jesse -- in the future, please make a new thread if the old one has been inactive for a while, even if it's about the same subject matter. You can even link to the old thread in your new one if you want to direct our attention to information within it.

Daily notifications are still selectable, you just have to go to Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications tab. In there, you'll have more options for when to be notified.

There is a known bug right now where e-mails are not linking to the post they're referencing, and the e-mails don't include a preview of the message like they did. We hope to have it fixed soon

Thanks David. I updated my notification settings but still am not receiving daily emails. I noticed that some of my settings did seem to have changed to "Smart" rather than "Instant" with the update. What's the difference between the two options?
