Forum URL: talespinner.proboards74.com/index.cgi.proboards.comI would like to know what to do regarding a little problem... I put the code to resize the board and its skinnier now. When you enter a room and enter a thread... the board is wide still. If I recall, the code is in the Global Footers. Should it be elsewhere in order to effect the entire site or is there a glitch? You can view by logging in as testmonkey pass- TestMonkey and check out the ooc thread to see what I mean. Some of the other rooms are pass protected so dont bother, they have the same problem. Thanks for your time and help.

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- tablew = document.getElementsByTagName('TABLE'); for(t=0;t<tablew.length;t++) { if(tablew[t].width=="92%"){ tablew[t].width='70%'; } } // --> </script>
The code is in your Main Footer when it needs to be in your Global Footer

You would think so wouldnt you. But...nope, its in the global footer. Here are my codes... perhaps there is one conflicting with the other. I dont really understand coding, I just copy and paste them where members tell me too. lol

at the top of your dice roll code you have this
<style type="text/css"> <!-- .dice { color: 000000; font-weight:bold; background-color: FFFFFF; border:solid 2px #000000;} --> </style>
add the red bit

okay, now its all messed up again. The board is too wide once more. Left in the little red arrow... is there a space before the arrow or is it "attached" to the bracket in front of it?
Is there a line space before script or is it directly below the last line of the code?
How do you see my coding? lol

Ah yes, I forgot about how different browsers have different results. I use mozilla so I see differently. Each time I go in, it changes. It will be perfect, I will make a test post on the dice bot and then the forum is too wide again. Very wierd. There is definatly some kind of conflict affecting the dice and the width. When I removed the dice code, nothing changed. So, its not each other causing the problem. A new mystery to be solved.

Try the dice code above the width code.

Not a bad idea, I put it first of all codes in the global footer and everything works great...except the bot. lol it still shows random numbers across the post (see link in above post to view the dice test thread)
