November ProBoards Theme and Plugin Contest!

I have an idea, not many may accept it, just sharin it:

How about after the elections are done and the winner is chosen, the participants can "unite" and make a theme in rememberance of this contest named "Grand Finale" ?

The send button in the shoubox doesn't work in the EtchaSketch theme. Shouts don't get posted.

~*~   Timebomb007, sorry about that. I had removed the display in accordance with David's instructions and apparently it wasn't right.

Go to the Shoutbox template for that theme, if you have it downloaded, and in the Shoutbox template, replace the first line with this . . .
<div class="$[shoutbox_class] container full" style="display:100%">
That will fix it. I'll resubmit the theme now to the library again.

The default PB theme doesn't have any display declaration on the shoutbox container, and the Display CSS property doesn't accept percentage values (i.e. "display: 100%" is an invalid property value), so I'd be stumped to explain why my instructions didn't fix it and adding the above does. Whatever works should be fine though - I've learned not to argue with success.

Oh, the entrants will probably be submitting endless small revisions to their work before the competition end date, ♥ ℒʊ√ ♥, so don't feel like you're somehow a nuisance. The library is there so creators can quickly and easily put up edits and additions to their projects, anyway.

Thank you for your kind understanding, David Clark. This was probably not the time to submit a first theme (during a contest), it's a learning curve for sure.

But as always, ProBoards is super about this stuff.

I've uploaded my theme last Monday to the library, but it hasn't been accepted / denied yet. With my other themes I always got a reply within two days, so I am a bit worried something went wrong and I really want to join the contest (:

My Entry: Back to Basic

My main goal was to make this theme as user friendly as possible. Most of the new content (such as the tabbed box on the homepage) are made accessible through the Visual Editor. Things which are only changeable through the Layout Templates all got comments to make them easy to find an to change. I tried to achieve an overall flat and modern look. This theme contains four different avatars (default, forum staff, no posts and access denied), various icons, a tabbed welcome table and a slide menu. The board lists, user profile, mini-profiles and the info-centers al got a redesign to fit the theme.

It's been a short week this week due to Thanksgiving, but everyone will be back in the office on Monday. Since you submitted the theme within the time frame required, you would still be able to enter. I would recommend just putting the name of your theme in a post here with something like "(Submission Pending)", and then replace that pending message with the actual link once it's approved

Hi Ricky. I'm in the same boat as MissNK. I've submitted my plugin on Friday but have yet to receive any notification. I'm new here to ProBoards (this is my first post ) so I wasn't sure on the process. Hopefully I'm in the contest too so here goes nothing:
