Forum URL: us-pit.proboards.comI'm not really sure where to put this, so I'm putting it in the Support area because it's a question as well as a suggestion for improvement. Is it possible to create a Plugin or to have the development team of ProBoards to implement this Forum-wide, for there to be a place to put "Drafts" when you're working on a big thread like I am since I'm putting the User Guides and such onto my forum? Does anyone think that this would be a good idea? The drafts? I would love to hear your opinions! (If this is in the wrong thread, where should it go? I wasn't really sure, so I just put it here.)

Hi Alan Vende, Not sure if you know this already, but there is a drafts feature available that you can enable. You can do this by visiting your profile, then click the Edit Profile button. Next, click into the Settings tab and you'll find the "Enable Drafts" option there. With drafts enabled, if you begin to write a post, then decide to leave the thread for whatever reason, when you return to the thread you'll be asked if you want to resume from your saved draft It's important to note that only one draft is saved at a time, though. So you currently wouldn't be able to have multiple drafts.

I didn't even see that when I was on my profile; thank you for that! So I guess my improvement would be to make it have more drafts than one at a time. Thank you!!

It's not a problem. I'll mark it as a request to see if maybe we can add in support for more drafts

Another thing you might consider is making a simple test forum. A lot of us do that so we have a place to test things we might like to try. It doesn't have to be fancy, just workable. You can put it in Maintenance Mode so people won't come in and try to post.

I wouldn't know what to do with it!

I use mine to test things that interest me, or to see how things work. You can mess around with making skins, or if you see a problem mentioned here on Support you can go to your test site and practice how to fix it. You can add code you see here to see what it will do for you. It's just kinda like a sandbox to play in and experiment.
