I'd love it if I could assign member ranks to member groups if possible

You mean you want groups to be assigned based on post count/rank, or you want a rank to be displayed as well as a group?

I want it basically to be that groups can be assigned for certain post ranks.
So say I had Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 etc as a rank it could be assigned to say Superboo group ranking

You want users to have more power as they post more and progress through ranks? If there aren't more powers why have members join another group automatically? This idea doesn't quite pan out for me.

It's more say for example in a roleplay forum like SHIELD. (I'm using SHIELD as this is an example I have to hand) I have a group called S.H.O.T Agents (Superhuman Operations Taskforce) Ideally I'd love it if ranks could be used to display different levels of data access (Gain more by posting more) So for example S.H.O.T Agent level 1 can only access the basic info (Because they're not trusted) However different groups have different speeds of gaining access. Someone in say the R.A.P.I.D group would gain the early levels pretty quickly, but more then likely higher ranking levels a lot slower. So there would be two ways to solve this: A) Post ranks (easier as they'll be gained automatically) B) Multiple group displays (aka they start in level 1) Basically its a quicker way of ensuring that people can 'see' the data clearance without relying on a custom field which is going to be clunky for the type of aim I'd need it for.

This is a very specific type of use case for this sort of feature! I'll mark this as a feature request, but as usual, no promises!

I believe more then rp forums could make use for it - for example say a forum that may be more generalised they could have a group called "gamer" and wanting to create ranks for how often they posted, or a mainly support forum that may have a group called "tech support" again they could create ranks.
