To be clear I'm talking about the recent posts list widget on the custom pages. On the drop down options lists its: Widget Settings: Recent Threads/Posts You then select which one of those you want For "Recent Posts", it only has two options for board selection, either the entire forum or one specific board. Entire Forum Specific Board Could it be changed to Specific Board(s) and become multiple choices? The reason I ask is I'm trying to set up a custom "home" page, with "recent posts" at the center of it. Showing just one board really isn't enough and there are several boards such as those for fan fics, fan art, the "Members Gallery" (added by the same-named plugin) and a few others that I don't want there. It's even showing me stuff from a test board because as an Admin my "group" can see it. abetterplace.boards.net/page/homeI would think this would be a really minor tweak that could make a big difference for people trying to use the widgets to craft a custom home page.

Hey adminabp, This thread has been marked as a feature request for our dev's reference. I know you're saying you want to be able to select multiple boards, but maybe in the meantime you could just use more than one Recent Posts widget to display from the boards you wish and specify that they're from different boards? You can add as many as you like, so perhaps it's a viable solution for right now.

Some boards just don't have enough regular activity to warrant a separate widget placed there all the time just for that one board, but I would want activity there included when it is happening. If the multiple option is included in the future it might be good for admins to group the low activity boards together in one widget and then use some separate widgets for the more active boards. That way you can have a good representation of your forum's content without having any older posts showing from less currently active sections. I'll probably do something like you suggest at least until there is another option. Thanks again! Also want to say you guys have good customer support!

Thanks for the kind words, glad we can be of assistance. If you're interested, I could probably come up with a code that would merge the recent posts list of two widgets into just one, but it wouldn't be in order of most recent post made like it normally is, it would show one widget's list then the other's.

Thanks, but I think I was able to use multiple widgets as is to produce a similar effect. I added another "zone" just for recent posts, used it's title and container and named it "recent posts", then added multiple widgets inside of it and left their containers off. I think it looks pretty good for a workaround! abetterplace.boards.net/page/home
