Day 1

The village of Rock Ridge enjoyed an unusually long sleep this morning, as the ceremonial ringer of the giant bell that wakes everyone up at 6:00 a.m., @dmage, did not fulfill his duties, causing everyone in the village to sleep to an unprecedented 11:30 a.m. An initial investigation into @dmage's whereabouts determined that he had vaporized or, more plausibly, been abducted by aliens over night. A better investigation then revealed that he had been shot in the middle of the city center, where his corpse was. Authorities are still looking for a suspect. So far, they have narrowed down their list to the following: everybody.

Day phase 1 occurs, which means it's time to become suspicious of one another and form alliances as well as vengeful torch-and-pitchfork mobs. Since I don't feel like recapping the day phase rules, here's a copypasta from the OP:

Day phase:
All living players meet in the town hall to discuss who to lynch. They use evidence such as voting records, suspicious behavior, and deduction to try and work out who is Mafia and kill them. The Mafia tries to mislead them into killing their own. Once a player has received more than 50% of the vote, they are lynched, and the game moves into the night phase.

Notes

• Days last 24 hours total. If no majority is reached, there will be no lynch.
• When posting your vote, please post it in bold.
• Vote retraction is allowed. You may also change your vore anytime before the end of the day phase.
• Players may vote to lynch themselves, but outright suicide is not allowed.
• No indirect vote (e.g., "I'll vote for the majority").
