Please do so, rileyrykov. The one I'm thinking of in particular is the style tag plugin itself, because it's also present on the other forum you linked where you mentioned similar issues were taking place.

David ClarkThe advert works fine on other sites with Style Tags from what we've seen. Stern posted on Accio and on Blackwood and both have it there. For the app code, it doesn't work on both of those sites, but also doesn't work on this one which doesn't have style tags installed. Also, on Blackwood, Ryder had the same problem with the application code on there, which was very different to the Stoneshore one and didn't have any Style Tags coding in it. I turned all the plug ins off and both posted again here stoneshore.boards.net/thread/179/blue-ridge-riding-academyThe ad works, but the app still doesn't. Turning on only style tags for the advert will the last post that shows up. There's the app a few mins ago, then the ad (working) then the ad (styletags only plugin). (When stern gets a chance)

I haven't had much luck getting this to occur for me on my test forum (default theme, no plugins) see the following link, for example: daveclarkplugintest.boards.net/post/2/threadI also tried copy/pasting the application BBCode into a new post in the thread you just linked, rileyrykov, but it came out normal on my end. (I've since deleted the post)

Here's a link to the troubleshooting and diagnostics page for Firefox. You might try going through these steps to see if you can isolate the problem.

It looks like ads posted through the Quick Reply are working okay, but when it's through 'reply' it isn't. We're currently trying to go through and add in plug ins one at a time to see when it starts to play up. Redoing it now to only go via 'reply' and not 'quick reply'.
On the test site, can I ask Ryder to go on there and post the code to see if it still does the same for her?
Also, once we're finished turning the plugins on with the ad, I'm going to ask Stern to post the app code, since she uses FF just to see what happens when she tries (on stoneshore that is).

At the end of that process it looks like the Word Counter plug in is what was causing the problems with the advert.

David Clark I think we've sorted it now. The 'word counter' plugin was messing with the ad. It works fine without that plugin now, so hopefully that issue is resolved. The application still goes funny for Ryder on Firefox, however, we've changed the [*code] tags to [*noubbc] tags and doing it that way seems to work fine.

Awesome, rileyrykov. If you'd like, you can make sure you have the latest version of the Word Counter plugin and if so, make a post in the plugin's support thread so the author knows you had this difficulty.

I don't really think it was used, so losing it isn't really a big deal. I'll certainly post in that board though and make sure the author is aware of it. Thank you so much for you help with this
