I posted in this same thread because the code block was not working, which is why I started using the data sets instead.

Yeah the code block is very picky. Thats y i originally only wanted data sets lol. Did u find the data set extension? Or is it not working?

Somehow the plugin ran out of space for data, which is why I tried to use 2 of them.

Yes that problem is fixed on the first post by using the original plugin plus an extension. Since you are using the autoform this is the extension you need. Vdice Replacer Auto Storage.pbp (2.57 KB)

I've been testing and using this plugin and it works great so far. However, an error recently came to my attention.

Sometimes the roll hangs on the first 6 or so numbers and ignores everything else beyond that. (for example I roll something for 1d200 and it only  goes up to 1d6) I'm sure I typed my rolls correctly because this error happens in one forum, the rolls work fine in another forum. What am I doing wrong?

Whenever it hangs and rolls dont continue it means that the settings or the page has some syntax error. I would need the url of the page that isnt working and possibly a copy of the manage plugin section. I havent messed with it in a while so i don't know if i could find the problem

I just figured out what the problem was. I forgot to enable dynamic rolling in the vdice plugin settings, hence the suspicious 1-6 rolling. Such a silly oversight! Hopefully members with the same problem can learn from my mistake.

I originally made it for one guy. I didnt realize how much use it would get. I realize its not the easiest setup but its the best i could do with no access to the original coding.

I'm also glad this has been popular, and once again, thank you for this P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓ , by far my favorite plugin ever

I basically added all the pokemons in existence, with gif images, color for types, stats, name, gender, shiny pokemons, all the unknowns, even a link to get more information about it, everything with it's own probability... simply beautiful haha, it's a shame I've been having problems with other plugins, but I'm still on the pokemon rpg project, and this is definetely the most innovative and useful plugin on my forum.

I have been looking through this plugin and several of the ones you mentioned as well as looking through this thread and I couldn't find anything about it, but perhaps I missed it so I apologize for asking again but is it possible to add images to this? For example, one of the replacers has a wild lapras that appears, if we were to use that, could we somehow also put an image of the lapras there when it is rolled on as well?

Totally possible, if you read my comment above, you'lll see that I basically added all the pokemons in existence, with different probabilities each, including a gif image of each pokemon, even shiny images.

Just use html code for the img <img src="url">

Wow thats fantastic! I was wondering why it wasn't working, and it was because I was using BBCode, not HTML. This is absolutely amazing, thank you so much!

Yes, as I mentioned before, this is my favorite plugin ever, I requested for it and I even thought of a lot of things I realized I was able to do with this. I'll show you an image later when I get home so you can see what I cureently have, and since we are both doing something pokemon related, I'm sure you'll like it

I'm using that extension, and none of the data sets I fill in work.

I believe you have improperly setup this plugins manage section.
Do you have screenshots of your settings under the extension?

Hello, I'm trying to set up the vDice replacer on my site. It will be re-purposed as it isn't a Pokemon site, but the basics of it should still be the same. Firstly, do I need to have the regular vDice plugin as well as the replacer? Thus far I've tried it both ways and neither worked.

Secondly, do you have a guide of some kind that I might be able to take a look over to better understand how to set everything up? It seemed pretty simple, but I'm having no luck in getting a dice box or replacement text to show up at all.

You have to have vdice installed before this plugin. Use the autoform to get used to it. Enable the board. Post the code in the example on page 1 in theis thread. 
If that doesnt work try using it on the default theme.

I have the vDice installed and I tried it with the original set up and it works, sort of. I tried to do the minor changes to better suit the text outcome that would be desirable for the site, but as soon as I do, it doesn't work. I don't have any other questions, so thank you for your reply. I'm going to try and find something else that will replace this. Again, thank you.
