It should be editable when editing the OP of the thread. I can't check it atm but if that's not the case it may be due to some other code, the theme being used or its bugged. If the latter, I will check it when I can.

This is what it shows for me when trying to edit someone else's thread from an admin account:




At first, I thought it was because I had certain posting restrictions in place for out-of-character accounts, but I removed them from our admin accounts and it's still the same. I tried changing the words between the [ti] tags, hoping that it might just be that showing in raw form - but that totally breaks it and the original disappears, too.

Plugins don't work on mobile so they won't be parsed. When I update it to the next version I will use keys so there is no need for the [ti][/ti] tags

You can put whatever images you want in there.

Seems there's a conflict between this and the Thread Title in Action Bar template edit.

Makes it show [ti]ICONname[/ti] in the action bar.

Any way to fix this?

Can you post a screenshot of what it should look like? I genuinely can't remember if the icon is simply saved in the header or if it uses a key. It would only really be possible if a key is used so it can be separated from the header and put into another column.
