Hi all.

I've made some changes to the plugin. It should now parse things a lot better, if not there's always the option to add the elements into the plugin directly, so there's no need to wait for an update.

There's also the option to enable or disable it on a per board basis.

Boy_Wonder, It was parsing the code ok but the news ticker gets replaced by some JavaScript variables, so I needed to parse the JS too. Should work just fine now.

If you're using Brian's Individual Post Subjects Plugin then you need to make some changes to the Thread Icon settings. In the Icon Remover String option in the Advanced tab, enter the below to solve the issue that user07 had.

.subject_input input, .subject_input .subject-text, .post-subject

Any problems then let me know

Okay newsfader now works but I can't get it to work on the threads themselves how would I select these to show shelter2015.boards.net/

That is peculiar. Was it converting the icons on threads correctly in the previous version? I did make some changes to the selector so it would be faster, thinking it might just be a simple fix by adding on another selector.

Yes it did - its now not working on the first news thing unless I don't have an actual icon selected, the icon selection option itself has disappeared etc

I've also noticed that now, instead of just the title, all my threads now have: "[ti]iconname[/ti] Title of thread."  This looks really messy and carries over to facebook or anywhere it's shared.  Is there anyway to remove that from the thread titles?  My board is Fresh-Hope if you need to see what I mean....

There shouldn't be any "[ti]iconname[ti]" in threads as it converts them into icons, but that's a good point about sharing links cindyann. I was trying to avoid using keys with this but it looks like that's the path I will need to take.

I wonder if Wormopolis or someone can tell me if the thread key information is accessible for threads that are viewed on the main forum page, in the Last Post sections, the newsfeed and other area where the thread link is located.

thread keys would be viewable if that thread was naturally referenced. as in, a "last post" happened to be in that thread on the main page, you would be allowed to get to thread key (as well as post key).

Yes that's right (It's also not showing on the edit post page either btw)

Also do you want me to give you a 'list' of all css selectors I've inputted to get it to show icons?

That would be great, if you could list the page they're on too that would be fantastic. I just want to double check them and make sure the selectors are not specific to your board.

Yeah, the ti code is still there, you just can't see it . My next update will use keys so that wont happen.

These are my selectors so far

.thread-recent-link, .thread-link, #nav-tree

The only one that is "board specific"are the nav-tree one to append it onto the end of the navigation tree
