Are you using the latest version? That should be resolved.

(unless the default values weren't saved in the library. I'll update it soon.)

I assume so, I just installed it from the library before I posted my questions....

I just looked and it says Version 1.0.0 Release  and I also didn't see anywhere that showed where you could check for updates or anything like that

You need to upgrade it by just selecting it from the library again cindyann then there'll be and advanced tab option

Ok, did what you asked and then put in everything that was in that spoiler. That means that the box that says Icon Remover String is empty right? If so then I did it right I think...

yes that's right!

All you need to do then is make sure you only have one version of Topic Icons plugin

I tried installing it on another board of mine and all the default values are present. I think they only show up blank if you import the settings from the previous version, as those settings weren't there.

The Icon Remover String is used if you would prefer no icon shown instead.

I have two but I disabled the old one and just have the new one enabled, as I don't see any way to uninstall them...

under manage plugin there should be an X to the right of the plugins name.
