Wasn't too sure about where to put this or even if it is possible. My board is used alot with the members doing Graphics. With Aimoo Forums you can right click on a picture then right click and paste it into your post. I was wondering if there is anyway that this can be done with Proboards? chrissystutorials.proboards.com/Thanks Christine

I was wondering if there is anyway that this can be done with Proboards? chrissystutorials.proboards.com/Thanks Christine I could right click on your avatar and paste it but I'd just have the link to the image. You just need to take one more step and click the to paste the link so img tags are around it and so it will show the actual picture and I'm sure you know that. So you are wanting that one step out of the picture (no pun intended) and some how have image tags around it automatically? I suppose a code could be written to look for a png, jpeg or gif extension and then put the tags around it but I'm not the one to write the code but I did want to clarify this is what you are after.

Our fearless leader (one of them), Brian, also built a very useful plugin that eliminates that last step, as well. You can grab his Auto Embed Image Links plugin that will force embed images when you post just the link in your Reply. It's quite handy.

Gridlines thanks but that isn't it. Tumbleweed take a picture that you may see on the web, This one here for Here for example on Amioo forums all you have to do is right click on the picture to copy it then right click to paste it into the body of your post. I have been doing it for my tags that I make for my tag group in email but it when I saw that you could do it on the amioo websites it was very handy instead of having to use the image thing. I have several members that find this would be easier than using the image thing for Proboards.

There's a 99% chance you won't be able to just drop an image in. Your best option would be right-clicking the image, and pasting the Image Link itself. My suggestion just removes a step, as you would no longer need the [ img ] tags.

All you do is paste your link and hit reply and there is your image. It doesn't get much easier than that! No you don't see it in preview mode and won't see it until after you hit reply but still, that is totally taking the step of clicking the image icon so you can paste your image. But I get that wouldn't work well if you are making a very customized post where you can see your image while you edit.
@christine1966, Feel free to keep bumping every 24 hours and maybe someone will have some ideas.

I'm almost fairly certain that because ProBoards' editor strips formatting that this will never actually work, but maybe Brian can confirm or deny that?
