My member cannot edit their post

Ok so I'm co-admin of this site, and I have a user who cannot edit their post, they say when they click save it won't save and acts as if it's never edited, I looked in the admin logs and everything and it's like it was never edited, they can't edit anything and this has been going on for a month now. All my other users can edit posts but not this one. And I have tried everyone and cannot fix it. webkinzhighway.proboards.com/user/4

Could you ask them what happens when they do edit it, and click the save button. How does the forum behave?

Also, if they try in an alternate browser, do they continue to have the same problem?

Lastly. Do you have any plugins enabled on your forum which may be preventing them from editing? Temporarily disable all plugins, and see if they continue to have the issue.

I checked and all plugins that affect editing are disabled, because everyone else can still edit with no issues. They told me it allows them to edit normally but when they click save it acts as if the post was never edited.

Is it a specific post or all posts for them?

If they could try in a different browser that may indicate whether the browser may be conflicting.

It's all posts, they can't edit anything, I can ask them about their browser though.

It appears to be your Edit Tracking plugin that is the culprit.

Šcott Edit tracking plugin? How does that cause an issue, because all it does is counts how many edits have been done to the post, and everyone else can edit just fine, could you please explain a bit, Thanks

I'll ask Brian to chime in here. He assisted me in tracking down the issue to that one plugin.

That's actually a question for the plugin author as I have absolutely no experience with the plugin in question.

Ok I'm going to do that because that plugin should not be causing this issue, because it doesn't cause an issue for anyone else. Šcott may I just ask how you knew it was that plugin.

I was able to recreate the issue of not being able to edit/save a post, and Brian helped me figure out it was that one plugin. We have diagnostic tools that allow us to disable various plugins, code, etc. to accurately troubleshoot issues. Through that process it was narrowed down to be that one plugin.

Ok well than I will contact the plugin creator, I do not see how that plugin is affecting the post editing but I will post on their support thread.
