I just want the 'select post' and 'back to top' in the cog dropdown on posts for guests to be disabled pls.

thats worked but its taken the 'previous thread' option out of the action dropdown.

iv removed the member one myself.

When I go to your site there is no drop down at all for the cog wheel. If you added another line to remove the member part, that may have made the sequence off.
I don't know if this is logical or not but if you say, remove the first child first, that means the 2nd child is now the first child. That's why I started with the last one you wanted removed first but again, I don't know if my reasoning is logical.

Not sure how to help you at this point since I see nothing viewing your coding that shows what you did to get nothing to appear in the drop down.
