What new feature are you referring to, exactly? The Switch Account option returning you to the page you were just on dates back to at least 2014. The new feature, that takes us back to the home-page We love that it let us stay on the page, we were just on
Oh. That's not really a new feature but an existing feature (the one that take you back to the page you were just on) just not working at the moment. The task to fix this has now been moved from the devs' backlog to their to do list (the queue of tasks for them to complete before the next code push).

The task to fix this is complete.
I won't be able to offer any updates on its status beyond this point as I have no control over when code pushes happen. Until the feature begins working again in the very near future you can assume the fix for it has not yet been pushed live.

Are code pushes a regular thing or just as and when there's enough stuff to justify it?

Are code pushes a regular thing or just as and when there's enough stuff to justify it? Code pushes happen when an important fix needs to be pushed or when enough less important tasks have been accumulated. There's no set date when they occur.

That's okay, sounds like what we do at my own place of work. Fingers crossed there are enough things done to justify a push soon.

It's been a couple of weeks now and no code push appears to have occurred - is this any closer to happening?

As I mentioned before I have no further updates or estimates to offer on this as there is no schedule for code pushes.
Much like a wizard, a code push will happen precisely when it is meant to.
