Forum URL: imdb2.freeforums.netHi. The view count for all threads on my forum goes up by 3 for every 1 view. I seem to recall a thread here on support about a similar issue a while back, but I can't find it again. Help? Thanks... -John

Hi In your header, you have this block of css: #wrapper {background-image: url('URL IMAGE IF YOU SO DESIRE'); width: @wrapper_width; padding: 30px; border-radius: 3em 3em 3em 3em;-moz-border-radius: 3em 3em 3em 3em;-webkit-border-radius: 3em 3em 3em 3em; border: 1px solid; }
Could you remove background-image: url('URL IMAGE IF YOU SO DESIRE'); from that, and see if the problem persists.

Thanks, Craig. Now it's x2, so that helped. I assume there must be another piece of useless code lying around in there somewhere...

I couldn't see another one, in the source, and it didn't increment more than once when i viewed a topic. Do you have more than one theme on the forum?

Actually, yes. I have 10 themes, all but one ( this one) are simply different colors of the default, and they all have only this spoiler button code added to their style sheets: .spoiler_header > a { color: @buttons_text_color; font: @buttons_text_font; background-color: @buttons_background_color; background-image: @buttons_background_image; background-attachment: @buttons_background_attachment; background-repeat: @buttons_background_repeat; background-position: @buttons_background_position; border: @buttons_border; .rounded-corners(@buttons_border_radius); min-height: 20px; line-height: 20px !important; padding: 2px 4px; display: inline-block; vertical-align: middle; cursor: pointer; white-space: nowrap; } .spoiler_header > a:hover { color: @buttons_hover_text_color; font: @buttons_text_font; text-decoration: @buttons_text_decoration; background: @buttons_hover_background; border: @buttons_hover_border; } (By the way, I still have not figured out how to put that in the global headers.) Why do you suppose the increment is x2 for me, but only x1 for you?

It has variables in it which are using on the server side to generate the .css file. So when you save the stylesheet, those variables are changed in to 'real' values, and saved to a .css. Those variables will not work anywhere else but in the stylesheet.
Try removing background-image: @buttons_background_image; from that line and see if that helps. If it doesn't, could you try setting yourself to the default theme and see if it still increments +2

Still x2. >< Could it be a plugin, perhaps?

You could try disabling the plugins, but also try in another browser, as that may be having an impact.

You could try disabling the plugins, but also try in another browser, as that may be having an impact. Opera and Edge increment +1, but Firefox was still +2 (even in safe mode) only on my forum and no other. After some trial and error with a cloned test forum, I started to suspect my FF. Clearing cache, cookies, session, and site preferences with CCleaner did the trick. I don't know if it was one or all of them, but increment is +1 now, so all is good. Thank you so much for your help, Craig. -John
