Lynx, How do I remove the shoutbox from the Leaderboard custom page? I may actually want to not use the forum wrapper at all on this page, but I'll want to see what it looks like once your data is populated in there first. But I for sure don't want the Shoutbox.

I'll take a look, but we should be able to use an {if} statement in the forum wrapper to keep it off of the leaderboard page. I'll see what I can dig up on that, but I think it can be done using the $[route.params] template variable in some form.

Lynx, you freaking rock! As you know, we have been testing this beta version on two of my forums for several days. With a few exceptions that you've noted in your top post, it works really well. By the way, we just had a user today mention that they're using Safari on an old ipad and are encountering the same problems that IE users are -- game doesn't appear at all.

Is that Safari user using desktop mode or mobile mode on their iPad? If they're using mobile, plugins don't run on mobile - they need to use desktop mode to have plugins work.

I'm sure she was in desktop mode because she's played the game all along until now. I just heard from her again and she isn't using the latest version of safari. And when she tries to upgrade to the latest version of safari, her iPad tells her it isn't compatible. So it must be a pretty ancient iPad. She has accepted that she just won't be able to play the game until she upgrades. I did hear from another Safari user today though who can successfully play the game on the latest version. So no issue for you. Thanks!

Function-wise, yes. The only thing that the version in the library has is a Leaderboard Info tab, but I think you already know that stuff, so no need to upgrade again - unless you want to:

Thanks. Maybe I will go ahead and reinstall once we start a new hunt. I think I already know this, but I wouldn't have to comment out the shoutbox or change the CSS colors again if I reinstall, would I?

No. The plugin doesn't change any changes you made to the Forum Wrapper (shoutbox) or the stylesheet (CSS colors). The only thing you would need to check for is to see if your Opt-Out group got removed from Admin > Plugins > Manage - using the plugin's EDIT button on that page.

Hello, Lynx, First, thank you for taking over this plugin awhile back.

Now, on a personal level. I had this working on a test site a few years ago, but could never get it working on my regular site. Life happened, my husband got sick and long story short, he died last year. I've been on an emotional roller coaster for almost two years but I'm ready to try again. I've followed this thread and you have done a lot, changed a lot and I feel a bit intimidated, this is a complicated plugin... but oh so much fun.

Anyway, here's my first and main question, on page one of this thread, is the current version the one listed there?
Second, does the plugin come with help on installation and such, or will I have to hunt through this thread for things I'd like to do, like changing the prize and image? I want to create my own hunt prizes along the lines of things I think my hunters/members would enjoy and have fun finding, keep it running for X amount of time and freshen it up with a new "prize."

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Yes. Version 1.0.0 is the current version. Please note that this version requires room for 2 super keys and 1 regular key if you do not already have this plugin installed.

Setup for the leaderboard is listed on the first page of this thread. As far as changing images, you can look at the image I put in this post on the 2 options to change the prize settings. The Container image URL option is where you can change the "bag" image.

There is no step-by-step instructions anywhere (except for the leaderboard). However, if you need help with something, you can always post your question here.

Also remember that you can mouse over the little question mark next to each option to get a tooltip for that option.
