Thanks, Lynx I don't think I have any keys in use yet, I'll look. Using plugins and getting familiar them is a skill that really is "use it or lose it," and I have forgotten all the things I did before. I even had a folder with tiny icons for prizes, but have no idea where that went either. But, I'm gonna give it a go.

If you go to Admin > Plugins > Manage, you'll see 3 tabs near the top: Manage, Build and Keys. If you click the Keys tab, you can see what keys are in use for what plugin, and what type of keys are in use. The big bar at the top also shows you how many plugins are installed, how many (regular) keys are in use / how many (regular) keys in total are available, and how many super keys in use / how many super keys in total are available.

Thanks for the help, Lynx, I have three keys being used and no super keys in use. Wow, I have not been in there is a long time, I was surprised by what I have active. Don't even know what half of it does anymore. I've been more of less on hold before doing anything till V6 kicked in, well, that's my excuse. I'm getting a bit old for this game, I'll be 78 this summer, but I do love my site and my member friends. I want to give them a treat for their loyalty.

JJ, I have two forums that use this plugin constantly. We change "themes" of our hunt once a month with all new container images, alert images, and verbiage. And we change our prize image EVERY DAY! So if you want help from a user perspective, I can walk you thru how we do it. Just ask questions and MSG or myself will be able to walk you thru it.

I actually created a test forum so that I can get mine all set up before we go live, and then just have to copy over the fields to the real forum and turn it on.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dear husband. My condolences.

Lynx, I installed the new version on both of my forums this morning.
I did have to reset the opt out group. I haven't turned it on yet, but will do so May 6 if you want to peek in. Thanks!

Thanks, m2marsh, I'll probably take you up on the offer. I got it set up on a test forum once upon a time and it worked fine, just not on my regular forum, most likely a conflict from coding or other plugins. I just gave up after awhile.

UPDATE:

This has been added to my OP:

New in Version 1.0.1 - Maintenance Mode

Maintenance Mode, when turned on, will stop new items from appearing - so they can't be collected. However, it does leave the Leaderboard visible so Staff can do a final tally for end-of-hunt. This makes sure that no one can add to their collection while counts are being checked.

Why call it "Maintenance Mode"? Well, disabling the plugin will, of course, disable the Leaderboard. This can mean that Staff need to put their forum in Maintenance Mode so they can enable the plugin, get the counts, then disable the plugin again and disable Maintenance Mode on the forum. This option now makes it so the forum doesn't need to go into Maintenance Mode so Staff can get the final counts - they only need to turn Maintenance Mode on in the plugin.

This setting can be found on the Modifiers tab at the bottom.

This was just submitted, so this version may not be available yet.

With a HUGE thanks to Peter, I've now submitted Version 1.0.2 to the library. Peter made IE fixes, so the plugin should run for IE users now.

This is really great news! I have at least two members who are senior citizens and stuck in their ways and use Internet Explorer. they had decided to just not play the game anymore rather than switch to a better browser! They will be very happy campers! Thank you!

Lynx, started a new hunt this morning and obie3, the IE user, CAN now play the game! She (and I) are very happy campers now. Thanks to you and Peter for going the extra mile for archaic browser users.

Just now got brave enough to try this on my test site and so far, I am loving it! I had a piece of candy show up on the background, not a thread! That is so neat. I still haven't figured out all the ins and outs, but I will. Thank you everyone.
