Question, m2marsh. What is the optimum size for the image of the prize, and can it be a png, gif or jpeg?

I size everything down so that the maximum pixel size is 200 on the largest of the height or width parameters. That way you can see the image, but it isn't completely huge. I use gifs only because I have a gif resizer that makes it easy for me to get the animated image to the size I want. But if you have other means of resizing, you could use PNG or jpg as well.

Currently, no. It's something I'm thinking of adding, but probably not until after V6 launches.

Hi, Lynx !

I have now installed the new version of the Scavenger Hunt plugin (1.0.2) and it seems to work well, including the leaderboard.

But what happened to the option to edit the code strings? I can no longer find any place to modify the details of the prize container (colour, border etc...).

Second question: Do you still need more admins in your test panel or is this a bygone stage by now? Sorry that I have been too busy to deal with this issue until now.

Anyway, thanks for your tremendous effort to improve the forum experience for lots of users! Much appreciated!

It's no longer an open build, but the classes are still the same. You can still target them, but you'll need to place CSS changes into your stylesheet (per theme) or in you global footer (for all themes).

Testing is over with, so now it's just people letting me know if there's any issues by posting in this thread. No worries about being too busy - RL can do that.

I have one question, though: Before, we could see the amount of prizes in each other's profiles, while now, only our own accumulates and other membes show up as 0. Is it supposed to be that way? Our members are fine with checking the score in the leaderboard function, but I just wondered.

No, that shouldn't be happening. You should be able to see everybody's counts in their mini profile.

I took a quick look at your page's source and it looks like you've got the permissions set incorrectly. Go to Admin > Plugins > Manage, click on the Scavenger Hunt plugin (the name, not the Edit button), click the What's the Prize? tab and scroll to the bottom and match your settings against the ones in the image below:



If yours does not match, please set them to what you see in the image above and let me know the results. Be sure to Save your settings.

I had excluded a group called 'vampire' (members on probabtion after having violated our rules and regulations) from certain benefits, also regarding this plugin, but I could never think that if would affect everybody. Guess I know less about the admin functions than what I thought.
