Forum URL: bbarise.boards.netForum URL: bbarise.boards.netHello, myemail removed which I used for ProBoards has been changed, meaning all my forums I had on it are gone. I'm registered on one of my old forums and someone is using the account if you check IP and etc you will see it's not me, but if you check history of account you will see it's mine! I can prove that is my email for the account and if I have to I can register on this forum with it Thank you You guys.. gave my account.. to this guy and he booted me offline (aka DDOS'd my wifi) I had to call Verizon right now and report this issue.. I am trying to not report Proboards for this because this is the second time he has done this and is stealing other people IPs hope you're happy Please give me my account back please, I've never received email that my password was changed. Nobody notified me my account was stolen I had to find out looking at these forums & my very own forums. I did not steal this man account this is the second incident where he has stolen my account because you guys constantly give it to him. He took flyboi75@rocketmail.com & now tobyrba@gmail.com please Proboards lol

Can someone please reply.. because I am about tired of this, he doesn't own the forum my friend Marcus aka Artist on that forum owns it. I am trying to reach him to tell him to ban the account & remove all rights but sadly he's not responding on iMessage. I've tried to log on my other staff members account to ban the account & remove rights but he has edited the group rights making them not able to do that and he has banned one of my staff members.
Proboards I hope you're happy knowing that you risked many IPs to be seen & used to send people offline

Forum URL: bbaera.boards.netCan you transfer forum to my friend his email is (removed for privacy) can you make him admin since I don't wanna own this forum anymore since I'm inactive. What type of non sense... this is another forums he stole. And you guys willingly gave it to him.. that was my forums that he stole the first time.. You made him admin, actually you gave him admin by transferring it without my permission.. Didn't even consult, didn't email me about this, let me tell you that this same guy has hacked into my Email on Yahoo to change my password, then actually hacked into my facebook and starting viewing my profile... This is the guy you guys keep letting have access to my account. I didn't even realize for 3 days he's been trying to steal the forums again from me till I checked his activity on here and saw his thread he made.

I'm sorry dude. I'd gather suspects. Chances are it's someone you know. Maybe call the cops. I believe hacking is a serious issue!

Yes, it's someone he's familiar with, but that doesn't give ProBoards the right to give his account away to some stranger. He basically leaked Toby's PERSONAL information without Tobys' rights for them to leak it. I can vouch for him on this post because the 'Kyle' aka 'Saener' dude did this before, and he's been trying for 3 days to hack the forum.

I have to point out here that account security on ProBoards is based on the user's email. If this person has all the credentials ProBoards needs -- ie: access to your email account when they send communications to it -- then that is your responsibility, not theirs. I understand that this is upsetting, but look at it this way. When you register with PB you provide only your email address as a means of unique self-identification (as DOBs can be shared and nothing else personally identifiable is requested). If someone signs up on PB claiming to be you, and has access to your email address, ProBoards presumes on good faith that they are you because it is a stipulation of the ProBoards Terms of Service that you are responsible for the security of your email account. There is no way they can tell, if the person is able to provide proof of identity, that that proof was obtained illicitly. If you suspected your accounts were breached or were being attempted to be breached (three days, you've said) you should have contacted PB with your concerns and/or immediately secured your accounts. The only security breach here, at least with regards to ProBoards, is that whomever is the rightful owner of the account had credentials that were accessible to someone who did not own the account. It's not PB's responsibility to make sure that the means of identification you provided stays secure.

Proboards allowed him now to transfer ownership for 2nd time.. in a row. So is there is a way I can get my forums back because if not I am placing complaint.

ProBoards should take much more caution, as this can ruin someone's life!

I Never... Never got an email that my password was changed, Never... I checked the forums and the email linked to 'god' was still there and when I tried to send an email to change my password it never sent. You guys assumed that it was him.. Why for the 2nd or 3rd time he posts on here you believe that its true.. for the same situation.. it so happens to be on the same situation that this occurs to him and you guys believe it. He just told you my email because ANYONE can see your email... it's not hidden we can all see each other emails

He has zero access to an email like that.. and you guys believed he did.. Explains why he never signed up on this FORUM with that email.. but I DID, does that not seem a little suspect? That I could log on here with the email used to sign up for 'god' and he couldnt? because he would need to activate it and he CANT DO THAT WITHOUT MY EMAIL

If it sends it to a security email, which is the owners email and the kylepinco dude has NO access too, why did a staff member send it to a email that Kyle provided which was different from the owner's email that was used to create the boards? As a small notice, I am not PB staff so I can only hazard a few guesses:
1. There is very little chance of the email being different. Even if the email address on the admin account were changed, PB admins are able to still tell which email address was the original creation email, versus what is the most "updated" version of the email.
2. What PB checks against is whether or not the user can make an account here on support with the same email as the email on the admin's account. If they can, and if they can activate it (which is the communication I referred to, the activation code is sent to the email and the account needs to be activated before the user can post, meaning that the email needs to be logged into), then that is considered proof that the person in question owns the email account.
A PB admin will need to step in here at this point (which I'm sure they will) to clarify things further.
EDIT: I'm a little confused. I think it's best that the admins step in from here as this seems to be an issue spanning multiple threads. Good luck sorting it!
